Over the years, we’ve heard plenty of great questions, and we hope these answers will put your mind at ease as you plan your big day. Let’s make this process stress-free!

 

Q: What should we expect from your drinks reception music?

A: We provide a lively, unamplified Irish traditional music session to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. It adds a touch of character and a bit of craic without overpowering your guests conversations. We want your wedding drinks reception to be the perfect time for guests to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones with our music as the perfect backdrop. If you’re having a larger wedding and prefer a bit more volume, we’re happy to amplify the music - just let us know.

 

Q: Can guests join in the trad session?

A: Absolutely! It’s an open session, and we love when talented guests hop in. Whether it’s a tune or a song, it adds a unique personal touch to your special day.

 

Q: Do you have a wedding setlist?

A: We do surely! We work with you to ensure your favourite songs make the cut—and, of course, we’ll steer clear of any tracks you can’t stand. This is something we can discuss during your free consultation.

 

Q: Will you learn our first dance song?

A: Of course! We kindly as that you give us as much time as possible to learn it, and we’ll do our best to make it perfect for your big moment.

 

Q: Can we use an MP3 for our first dance instead?

A: Absolutely. We won’t take it personally if you prefer Ed Sheeran’s voice (for example) over Conor’s! We know some songs hold a special meaning in their original version, and we’re here to make sure it feels just right.

 

Q: How long does it take for you to set up?

A: Once we have access to the stage, we’ll be ready to rock in about an hour. That includes loading in, setting up the sound and lighting equipment, instruments, and a soundcheck. It’s the perfect time for you to mingle and grab a drink!

 

Q: Why should I book the band and DJ package?

A: It’s all about keeping that dance floor alive! Our DJ seamlessly takes over right after the band’s set, so there’s never a lull in the fun. With an external DJ, there’s downtime while we pack up and they set up, so sticking with us means non-stop dancing and no awkward pauses!

 

Q: Do you offer ceremony music?

A: Not currently, but we know some incredibly talented musicians who do! We’re happy to recommend them to help you find the perfect sound for your ceremony.
